  When nothing is clear
#1

A child 11 years old with suspected blunt abdominal trauma, by the words of accompanying - fell out the window.

Aims abdominal US - which was unremarkable.

The child was delivered at the trolleys stretcher, legs hardly moves due to the pronounced pain; on x-ray without fractures. In the projection of a bruise on one shin at the US is visualized the subcutaneous fat with a hypoechoic inclusions with increased blood flow at CFM (lymphostasis / hematoma?).

Then traumatologists had a long discussion about some " boiled muscles."
