A child of school age came to the ED of the Children's City Clinical Hospital with a syndrome of edematous scrotum, on admission ultrasound revealed an increase in the size of the appendage and a slight dropsy(hydrocele), intraoperatively in the area of the appendage, a pair of blue hydatids were found, removed, at the moment, several days after the operation, the child's with no pain, the swelling of the scrotum remains in the area of the testicle with surgery, child is directed to the follow-up ultrasound.
On ultrasound, the testicle at surgery side has an irregular shape, presumably due to partial compression by edematous tissues in the area of the postoperative suture.
