Hirschsprung disease on ultrasound

    An adolescent girl with complaints of persistent constipation is directed to an ultrasound scan, where a pronounced enlargement of the distal colon was found in the pelvic area, pressing the uterus and ovaries to the anterior abdominal wall, and later diagnosed as Hirschsprung’s disease.
