A 65-year-old female patient came to the university medical center for an ultrasound screening of the mammary glands.
At Ultrasound the mammary glands are of mixed structure.
In the retro-nipple region of the right mammary gland, an area of local dilatation of the milk ducts up to 4 mm in diameter is visualized, without blood flow on the color Doppler imaging.
In the outer quadrants of both mammary glands, there are several hyperechoic lesions in the projection of fatty areas, up to 4-6 mm, without blood flow on the color Doppler imaging (differential diagnosis: hemangiomas, lipomas, etc.)
On the left, there is a single axillary lymph node up to 12 x 4 mm.
