  Transient both sides megaureter
#1

A 5-year-old child was referred by a pediatrician of the public clinic for ultrasound of the urinary system with complaints of enuresis.

On ultrasound, the dilated distal parts of the ureters were visualized within the bladder volume up to 50 ml. After micturition the ureters are not visualized, residual urine volume is up to 5 ml.

Recommended consultation of an urologist and further examination - VCUG (voiding cystouretherography) to exclude VUR (vesicoureteral reflux).
