  Hematoma of the gluteal region
#1

A 13-year-old child was sent for an ultrasound of soft tissues with complaints of a lump in the gluteal region that appeared several weeks ago; according to the child, the lump was previously larger and arose after an injury.

In the projection of complaints about a lump in the right lateral part of the gluteal region, an ultrasound in the projection of the subcutaneous fatty tissue visualizes a hypoechoic lesion with multiple septations, an uneven contour, at CFM without blood flow, measuring up to 26x11x19 mm (differential diagnosis: hematoma, etc.).
