  Phantom testicle
#1

A child of 6 years old, condition after the removal of the right testicle 1 week ago, with a suspected groin abscess is aimed at ultrasound of the scrotum.

At the time of the US left testicle in the scrotum 15x9mm, in the right half of scrotum visualized lesion of solid echostructure, oval shaped - resembles a testicle, but at the CFM without blood flow, size of 14x8mm (? by the opinion of the surgeon presumably hematoma), also in the right groin visualized heteroechoic tissue along the inguinal canal, which visually communicate with an area of postoperative suture (infiltrate?).

Near single LN up to 12 mm.

In the left hypogastriums visualized to 2 ml of free fluid.
