Prenatal testicular torsion

    Newborn with a clinical diagnosis - prenatal testicular torsion, scheduled ultrasound before surgery(Orchiectomy).

    Visually scrotum uniformly enlarged, at ultrasound both testicles in the scrotum, testicle with prenatal torsion(T) reduced in size, heterogeneous structure(fragmentation, necrosis), looks like a target - surrounded by a solid tissue rim, at the other side usual gray-scale pattern of testis(N), enlargement of the epididymis and a little amount of free fluid. PD reveals no blood flow in both sides.
