  Complex cyst above the testicle
#1

The parents of a 1-year-old child came to a surgeon at the public clinic with complaints of an increase in half of the scrotum.

After surgeon examination, they was sent for an ultrasound of the scrotum to verify a palpable dense mass in the projection of the testicle.

On ultrasound, a small amount of free fluid (hydrocele) is visualized near the testicle from the side of complaints, above the head of the epididymis of the ipsilateral testicle, a lesion type of a complex cyst with a septum, approximately 3.2 x 1.6 cm in size, without blood flow at CFM is visualized (differential diagnosis: spermatic cord cyst/ encysted hydrocele/ funiculocele, etc.).
