Ascariasis of small intestine

    Teenager 12 years-old with complaints of attacks of abdominal pain after eating.

    On ultrasonography in mesogaster there is marked mesadenitis, in the right iliac area there is an intraintestinal additional structure with the typical echo-features, echogenic outer layer and the central anechoic tube with hyperechoic walls(catheter like) - ascaris.
